Condover Hall 2017
The Year 6 are now enjoying their residental trip to Condover Hall. Mr. Philcox sent the following e-mail and photos:
The pupils have had a very successful first full day at Condover Hall. After sleeping most of the night, our intrepid pupils enjoyed a hearty breakfast and ,while some pupils ventured towards the climbing wall, half the group tackled the pond for raft building and kayaking. The rafts manged to stay afloat and dry which is more than can be said for some of the children. The afternoon pond groups enjoyed beautiful April sunshine while trying to master the art of staying dry in a kayak and trying to stay on a raft. The pupils behaviour has been excellent so far and some of them have even forgotten that they have not got their phones with them. They are having an amazing time although a number of them have said that they are looking forward to going to bed.
Another amazing day! The pupils have overcome fears and tackled all the challenges that have presented to them. The silent disco was a great success. They are all very tired and looking forward to good rest and sharing all their fantastic memories.
